Enroute to Canada from Mexico I came to California Import Auto without an appointment, with a truck that needed a new (left) rear axle and on what seemed to me to be an extremely busy day. And yet they repaired my truck that day and I was able to continue my journey the next morning.Now, a few days later and a few hundred miles north, I am more than happy with the work done.Thank you all!

They even reserved a rental car for me at a great discount and took me to pick it up.They replaced the soft top on my Miata and it looked like it was new out of the factory.Brian is really good to work with, start to finish.I will go back for other car repairs!

In my 43 years of driving this has been my most pleasant auto repair experience. To be able to speak with the owner and mechanic and watch them work on my car was good. When I just mentioned a little sound I was hearing, the owner quickly jumped in the car with me and went for a ride. The price was very reasonable. The location of the shop is a big plus, making waiting painless, being in a fun beach community with lots of shops and coffee stops around. This is exactly the type of shop I was hoping to find for my six year old volvo, which I know I'll enjoy for many years thanks to these guys.
