I was referred to Drive Auto by Torrey Pines Collision, the owner of which I know well. When I called Drive Auto, Brian the manager was very welcoming and made an appointment quickly. When I arrived for my appointment, Brian explained everything to me and told me they would look at my problem (stuck hood latch) and get back to me soon. I got a call the next day that the latch on my hood now could be opened, but they could not get a replacement part because it was no longer available. They said they could continue to try to get a used part if I desired them to, but since I could now open the hood, I decided that was enough. When I went to pick up my truck, one of the mechanics showed me what was done and made sure I could open the hood. I asked how much the bill would be, but they said since all they did was bend the hood latch a little, there would be no charge. I was so grateful! In these times when costs are so expensive, it’s so wonderful to work with people who don’t “nickel and dime” every chance they get! I will certainly take my business to Drive Auto and send my friends there as well in the future!
